A few photos from last weekend...
Sunrise over our horse pasture as I headed out to catch our trusty steeds early Saturday morning.
Jim and our friend Charlie heading out to gather the cattle that were pastured at the High Meadow Mountain Ranch in Ninemile. 60 cows and their calves, plus 2 bulls, all needed to be gathered, sorted, hauled home to get shots for the calves, and then taken out to fall pasture.
Charlie in the distance pushing along his little bunch of cattle. who was moving my bunch while I was taking pictures?! ;)
Early Sunday morning, gathering pairs at home to take to fall pasture.
Jim watching intently as his "girls" filed through the gate into to the corrals.
We successfully accomplished the mission. But there are still 3 more little groups of cattle that still need the same treatment-- gather, sort, vaccinate, move to fall pasture. So that's what we'll be up to over the next few weekends... once haying is done!
